Working On: Swing Path

To recap my Break 80 challenge, the first two weeks I concentrated my efforts on the impact position (releasing the club and contact). I have seen both improve by practicing the slap hand and two tee drills. This week I am focusing on my swing path. I really believe that if I can get my path inside-out, I will be much more consistent and hit the “go to” draw I’m looking for. For the first 2 weeks, my path has been mostly outside-in and this has cause my shots to miss the green. I need to consistently swing inside-out to make the necessary improvement to reach my goals.


Checklist

In my practice sessions, I will be looking for the following:

  1. Swing Path on average Inside/Out

  2. Swing Path Perfect Inside/Out 80%

  3. Clubface square to Open 2˚

  4. Swing Speed does NOT decrease
